Superman is a fictional superhero showing up in American comic books released by DC Comics. The type was created by article writer Jerry Siegel and designer Joe Shuster, students surviving in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1933. The origin storyline of Superman relates that he was born Kal-El on the planet Krypton, before being rocketed to Globe as a child by his scientist dad Jor-El, occasions before Krypton's damage. Discovered and followed by a farm few from Kansas, the kid is brought up as Clark Kent and imbued with a solid moral compass. Early in his child years, he exhibits various superhuman capabilities, which, upon reaching maturity, he resolves to work with for the benefit of humanity through the "Superman" identity.
